Wensum Valley Medical Practice based in Earlham is organising a ‘Know your neighbourhood event’. The event will take place on Friday 22nd September between 13:00 – 15:30 at the GP practice and aims to bring together patients with service providers and community groups from the local area.
Martin Green from Norwich Citizens Advice who is helping to organise the event said “We have already got about a dozen organisations signed up to come along on the day to talk to our patients, these include the practice’s own Patient Participation Group (PPG), social prescribing teams, Age UK, care coordinators, Healthwatch, also representatives from the UEA, library service and the vulnerable adult service.
We encourage patients local to Earlham to come along to learn about all the support which is available to them, and we still have a few places left for organisations, so if you think patients would benefit from learning about your group or organisation please get in touch”
